Weekend in San Francisco

So I went to San Francisco this past weekend. It was a quick trip, but I had SO much fun! I went to meet up with some photographer friends. We met online through a mom/photography forum back when we were pregnant with our toddlers and have kept in contact throughout the last 2 years. One of them heard that I might be going to SF in 2011 and asked if I wanted to meet up and shoot together. So, we got together along with another friend and basically just hung out…

We took pics, we laughed, we drank mimosas, we ate cupcakes, we ate Mexican food, we ate Tapas, we drank wine, we frolicked in the city at midnight (or maybe we just walked, frolicking sounds more fun, lol), we took more photos, we tried to see the sea-lions, but got turned away by a cop, I knocked over a couple glasses of orange juice in our beautiful white hotel room (whoops!), I drove on the wrong side of the road (completely sober, I am just dumb!),  and I may have even gotten lost while using GPS (hey she said take a left at the Golden Gate Branch, the GPS lady was clearly in the wrong!)… needless to say, the weekend was a blast!  🙂

I drove into the city and checked this shot off my list. It is a photo of the famous “Painted Ladies“, also called the “Seven Sisters” in Alamo Square. I’m pretty sure the girls on Full House were supposed to live in one of those houses.

(not sure what happened to the above photo. I know my lens was smudged, but that very well could be lazy photo shop on my part. Oh well.)

{the below photo was taken in downtown Palo Alto at night. Such a beautiful city!}

Before I forget, I want to mention that I’ll be in Houston from the 23rd – 30th. Right now I have a birth, newborn, boudoir, engagement and day-in-the-life sessions scheduled! I am also meeting more photographer friends for a play date (Addie is coming with me). Should be fun!
