Water Droplets

macro, photography

filed under:

Well I had hoped to capture some snowflakes today, but we got rain instead of snow. Hopefully we’ll get another light snow soon, but for now here are some water droplet macros.

90mm  –  ISO 500  –  f/5.6  –  1/200  –  speedlight bounced at 1/8th power

I got the idea from this blog: Learn how to take water droplet photos

…but, I pretty much broke all the rules in that tutorial (hey, rules are made to be broken!). I hand held my camera and let the faucet drip water into our dirty dishes in the sink. I was pretty much just avoiding the dishes. LOL. : )
