I have never shot continuously for 3 hours in 100+ degree heat. Hot, humid, Texas-in-August heat. I thought I was going to pass out at one point. I think it was right around the time that the balloons flew away from me and I chased after them with a 5 pound camera around my neck, nearly falling in the lake. lol. Did I mention that I’m 21 weeks pregnant? I must have looked ridiculous… and sweaty. Gross. I’m so sorry for anyone that had to see me that day!! 😀
Anyway, here are a few of my faves from the first day:
This photo of little Elliette was taken before we even started the official session. This spot of mulch had nice soft lighting, even though it was still pretty early in the day (the nicest light is closer to sunset). Isn’t her face angelic?

This last one was not taken during a mini-session. It was just a quick snapshot I took of my friend and her daughter (I also photographed them here) using her camera. But, I thought it was too sweet not to share, because I have truly never seen a smilier (smiley-er? sp?) baby. She does not stop smiling. Her mom, who is also my good friend, happens to be ridiculously positive and happy, so maybe that rubbed off on baby Jolie? Whatever happened, it’s cute. Too cute not to share 🙂
So many cuties!
Great job.
You are so talented, and sweet! 🙂
