Taylor and Emily walked up to this session and heads turned. Including mine. As if it needs to be pointed out, these two are beautiful. Unbelievably so. But, there’s more to them than meets the eye. Beyond the pretty faces is a real, sweet, genuine love. They completely adore each other.
Taylor is a true romantic, he surprised Emily with a trip to the mountains, which in and of itself is swoonworthy, but what he did there is even better. Taylor got down on one knee on the top of a secluded mountain and asked Emily to marry him. It was an amazing moment, one that Emily would have etched in her mind forever. What she didn’t know is that Taylor had secretly hired a photographer to follow them around for the day. The photographer had captured them skiing, eating, strolling through town, and best of all, he had captured every single moment of the proposal.
Hearing Taylor tell the story nearly brought me to tears.
Their happiness radiates around them. In fact, after shooting this session I went home with a renewed sense of happiness in my own marriage. To be truly in love is a once-in a lifetime gift and they reminded me that despite the fact that my husband and I are no longer newlyweds, we are so lucky to be in love. So lucky to have found each other.
