I last photographed these kiddos when the twins were newborns, so needless to say it was crazy to see how much they had grown up since then. Their mama Shelby and I went to high school together, which seems like an eternity ago… it’s hard to believe we have seven kids between us. I still feel like a kid myself… I guess time flies when you are having fun!
I think it should be noted for people that don’t know Shelby, that yes her first name is Shelby, and yes her last name is Shelby. What are the odds? I love that. It’s basically impossible to forget her name 😉
Anyway, I had so much fun photographing these guys at The Woodlands Waterway Square and nearby Waterway Marriott (we ducked inside because it was unseasonably cold outside and the kids needed an outfit change/snack break). I think it’s safe to say that I have three new best buddies in Ethan, Elynn and Blake. They tackled me with hugs at the end of the session, then requested more hugs once they were all buckled up in their car seats.
I seriously adored these kids and hope I get to see them next time they come into town for a visit. Thanks for hiring me to be your photographer Shelby family!
PS: the last photos of Elynn were taken a couple days later at Hermann Park and the Houston Zoo. Shelby had wanted a few headshots of her big girl, but she wasn’t having it during our cold family session, so luckily we were able to meet up for a few minutes on a much warmer and sunnier day to take a few shots. Isn’t she a doll? So much personality in that one. I had so much fun with her!
