I packed the last of my bags, made dinner for my kids and finalized arrangements for a good friend/babysitter to watch my daughters (my husband was out of town). My kids were jumping off the walls waiting for the call that said it was REALLY time to go, but luckily for me (and the babysitter!) it didn’t come till the following morning after they’d all had a decent amount of sleep (unfortunately that was not the case for laboring mom Taylor!! :/).
As soon as Taylor’s labor picked up on the morning of the 12th, it went FAST. In fact, I got a text as I was pulling into the hospital that said “going to start pushing, at a 10”. Eeeeek I thought to myself, I am NOT missing this birth! I parked on the side of the road and started running. I walked in and she started pushing. About 20 minutes later little Jax was born!! Taylor pushed a couple times and out he came. Perfect birth (at least from my perspective!). Jax was welcomed to the family by big brothers Ryder & Cash. The cutest boys you’ll ever meet.
Congrats you guys, I’m so glad I made it to the hospital in time to capture Jax’s arrival!! Taylor, you did amazing! <3

Woah! So many amazing shots!!! You truly have a rare talent for capturing raw and powerful emotions in such a beautiful and even poetic way. Ralphie’s sister is due in February, I’m taking notes 🙂
