Arlo’s First Birthday Session at Discovery Park

Happy New Year! It’s 2013 now, so out with the old and in with the new! With the new year comes a new website, a new logo, new marketing materials, a new camera, some new lighting equipment and a revised price list for Kipper Photography (all to be coming soon).

What won’t be new? Everything else! I will still be giving 100% of myself to each session. I am more inspired and excited than I’ve ever been. I love my job and for the first time in 3 1/2 years I am itching for the busy season to start. I can’t wait to meet new families and maybe even make new friends in the process!

When you hire me you aren’t getting someone who will hopefully “capture one great shot!”, you get 30 great shots (or more). You get images like the ones below. Beautiful, real photos of YOUR family interacting naturally (albeit dressed really well and frolicking in fields, but you know, as natural as it gets! :P) Even during mini-sessions, I make it my goal to actually get to know you and your kids. You could ask any client who hires me, who gets the most attention at a session and hands down it’s the kids. I have no shame; I’ll dance, sing, tickle, quack, bark and roll in leaves if it gets a kid to loosen up. I won’t leave knowing your whole life story, in fact, I fumble names every now and then!! But sometimes me accidentally calling your husband ‘Bob’ instead of ‘Sam’ lightens the mood! With that said, I’m going to spend some time going through last years sessions and reminisce over what a great year I had.

Let’s start with one of my fave families of all time. Ashley started as a client and turned into a friend, she has also spread my business name so much, I can’t thank her enough. This session took place in August of last year for her baby’s first birthday. We shot it at the flower fields in Discovery Park.
